1. What data we process, and why

  • Contact form and email. When you contact us, we process your name, organisation, email address and message, in order to reply to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your question, or steps prior to entering into an agreement. We keep this data for up to 2 years after our last contact, unless an agreement follows.
  • Legacy Readiness Scan. When you complete the scan, we process your answers and the contact details you provide, in order to show your results and, if you ask for it, to follow up. The answers are stored in Google Sheets. Legal basis: your consent. We keep this data for 2 years.
  • Clients. For clients, we process the data needed to perform the agreement and for invoicing. Legal basis: performance of the agreement and legal obligations. Financial records are kept for 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.

2. Cookies and tracking
This website only uses functional cookies that are needed for the site to work. We do not use tracking or analytics cookies. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to Google Fonts. See our Cookie Policy.

Our site links to LinkedIn. We are not responsible for how LinkedIn handles personal data; please read LinkedIn’s own privacy policy.

4. Who processes data for us
We use a small number of service providers, with whom we have data processing agreements:

  • mijndomein.nl (the Netherlands): website hosting, business e-mail
  • Google (Google Sheets): storage of Legacy Scan responses. Google may process data outside the EU; such transfers take place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We do not sell personal data. We only share data with third parties when that is necessary for the purposes above, or when we are legally required to.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including an encrypted (SSL) connection for this website.

6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Send your request to info@plinthglobal.nl; we will respond within one month.

7. Complaints
If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, please let us know first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
